PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Faye was found roaming our Little Rock neighborhood and had obviously had puppies recently.  She seemed to be very frightened and evaded capture for quite some time.  However, one day she was brought home by Ruby, our dog, and has been here for 2 months!  She is a delightful dog, but obviously has been mistreated.  When we had her spayed, the vet found a 22 bullet in her abdomen.  She is very protective of us, guards our property loudly, barks when anybody comes to the door.  She has never attacked anybody, and when we tell her people are OK, she is fine with them.  She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leashes, comes when you call her.  She is a 50 pound lap dog.  The vet says she is less than 2 years old. She understands "no", hates to be yelled at (she cowers like she expects to be hit).   Faye has been spayed, micro chipped, checked for all diseases, and she is very healthy.  She gets along great with cats (my 17 year old cat loves her) and really wants to please her masters.  We must find another home for Faye because our dog, Ruby, does not get along well w/ Faye. Faye probably needs to be an "only dog", or in a home with a submissive dog, as she enjoys being the boss.  She would make a wonderful, protective companion in the right home.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
